I'll Never Learn
I know I bitched and moaned about Snakes on a Plane yesterday, but if anybody goes to see it let me know what you think.

I finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban during vacation. I'm heading to the library today to pick up the Goblet of Fire today. I'm ahead of both the kids in the reading contest, but I think they will be able to power ahead of me in the last couple weeks of summer. I'll only be able to finish one more book, so they have a target which should be easy to reach. For the record I've finished seven books so far this summer.

Fresh from my sleep victory on the plane, I decided it would be okay to add a little caffeine to the diet. When will I learn? I finally dozed off around two last night. Maybe it was the green tea after dinner that did it. I'll try to limit my caffeine intake today to before noon and reduce it, but I probably should just go back to the complete ban.

I started taking an online writing course yesterday. My new project requires a different style of writing, and despite six years of writing for a living, I still don't consider myself a writer. Hopefully, taking some classes will disabuse me of that notion.

Have a good weekend everybody. Enjoy your last unofficial week or two of summer. Filed under Musings by Brian - Fri Aug 18, 2006 @ 12:00 AM (Permalink - Discuss)
