We must find this person. They must be interviewed.
I've got to believe that the folks who bought these things had their adrenaline pumping for weeks up until the point of purchase. Then there was still a thrill-ride (if they ran into no technical issues) as they discovered that the phone actually works as promised. Then there was a final stage, 8 days later, in which that they realized that it's JUST A PDA! It's a $500-600 PDA that requires a $1500 annual contract.
Then comes a final realization. The individual slouches on their Google-Ball and realizes that they are, in fact, an Apple-junkie. If Apple sells it, they will buy it. The individual then promises themselves that they will never again "take a hit" from the "Apple-Bong..."
Page ahead 2 months. Apple announces a new "Bong..." "Apple-junkie" can't help himself...
