As much as I love seeing all the Harry Potter characters on the big screen, I am often saddened by the little things they miss out.
Understandably they cannot put EVERYTHING into the movies, but then there are some things which I think are really, really quite vital to the story that they probably shouldn't omit.
Like the fact that "Padfoot, Wormtail etc" were actually HP's dad and friends. And that Harry's dad's animangus was a stag, just like his Patronus!
More annoying than leaving stuff out is changing things, like the whole prophecy-explanation thing in the latest movie.
But all in all, they cast Bellatrix and Dolores Umbridge PERFECTLY. and I LOVE Luna in the movie.
Okay, that's my little Harry Potter fan-rant.
I'm done for now. |

Oh, forgot to add, The Golden Compass looks good, but I hope they do a proper job of it, same with Stardust
If you've ever seen Howls Moving Castle - you should REALLY REALLY read the book, because after you read it EVERYTHING makes a million times more sense.
I found the book after the movie and loved it.
Anyone know if Beowulf is based on a book? Or if its any good? |

I had to memorize it for school and then dgaust said:
