Microsoft® DirectSound® compatibility. A Crystal Eye webcam, which supports Acer PrimaLite technology, is built-in to the screen bezel.

Windows 7 Starter Edition comes installed on the netbook, so you’ll have no trouble finding applications that are compatible with this system.  Windows 7 upgrades security and speed over previous versions of Windows, and that’s what you want in an operating system.  Other software includes Microsoft Works with Office Home and Student 2007 Trial, McAfee Internet Security Suite 2009 Trial, and Acer eRecovery Management.
