This notebook has the Intel Core 2 Quad process (Q9000 (Penryn)), which features 4 processing cores running at 2 GHz.  It has 6 MB of L2 cache and a front side bus that operates at 1066 MHz. It’s a 64-bit processor built on a 45 nm die.  The chipset on this laptop is the Mobile Intel PM45 Express. For memory there is 4GB DDR3 SDRAM running at 1066MHz , with the capability to expand to 8 GB.
