Werewolves vs Vampires

Results: 1 matches for your search: It's 3:15 am and I've returned from seeing The Dark Knight. I haven't been in a theater that packed since the last time I went to a midnight movie for The Return of the King. They had the movie show in at least five theaters and from the crowds I'm guessing they were all packed. I'd say if the midnight showing is that packed then we're going to see some records broken. First, I have to applaud the audience. It was a packed house with mostly high school and college kids. I feared it might get a little rowdy when the movie was fifteen minutes late starting, but when it finally did the crowd was silent. Two and a half hours and not a single cell phone ringing, not any annoying talking, I was truly impressed. I counted at least three Jokers in the audience and at least two Batmen. Had I known it was a dress up party, I would've worn my Batmask. Oh well, there's always next time. Anyway, the movie is excellent. The Joker steals the show. Every scene with him is fantastic. It's truly sad, Heath Ledger won't live to make another movie. My only complaint, and this could be because it was past my bed time, was that it got a bit talky in a few sections. I know it can't be nonstop action, but the pace could've been a little faster in a few scenes. Other than that, I stand by my recommendation. Now it's time for me to head up to the BBatBBed for some sleep. Filed under Musings by Brian - Fri Jul 18, 2008 @ 3:20 AM (Permalink - Discuss) |
