Hurray for New Keyboards and Experts
Hurray, my new keyboard arrived. I had to switch to an unergonomic keyboard for almost a day, because pounding the spacebar on the old one was hurting my wounded thumb. I didn't realize how many of the extra functions I use on my keyboard until I didn't have them. The replacement is the same keyboard but without the years of grime and abuse.
Don't listen to the experts. ESPN had 19 baseball "experts" pick the playoffs before they began. As you can read here, none of them picked the Tigers to beat the Yankees. Their expertness doesn't end there. The most any of them got right was two out of four. Seven of them didn't get any of the series correct. I believe 19 monkeys could've done better. I used this as a good example for my kids as to why they should look at what "experts" say with a critical eye. Of course, I also told them that they still need to listen to me or else I would read more.
