BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

BBelievers

It's hard to believe it's been over a year since our story about the teen using MySpace to lure bands to Los Angeles, but it still snagged some BBelievers...

Congrats dude, i hope it works out!!!

I have my doubts.

This guy is wondering how to get his Windows Vista to downgrade to XP when SP1 comes out...

How do I get SP 1 for Vista (XP)

Either he's a BBeliever, or he thinks I work for Microsoft support. I'm not sure which is worse.

iPhone Vs. Gphone

One reader had a bit of problem with my iPhone Vs. Gphone comparison...

Thank you for the wonderful review of the iPhone vs. the gPhone. I don't have pancreatic cancer, but if I do develop it, it's comforting to know the iPhone will be there for me.

I must point out something regarding the super-power comparison, though. The iPhone also imparts telekinesis to the owner:

So that category should be a tie.

PWNED!

Mighty Mouse

I linked to a story about genetically enhanced mice that could run twice as far as regular mice. I made the comment that it would show up in the NFL soon. Of course, I missed the obvious application of this technology, but that's what I have readers for...

NFL Players with the modified gene? Ha!

How about soldiers who can run twice as far and are "more aggressive"? Try reading some of the Dorsai books by Gordon R. Dickson to see what an enhanced military could be capable of.

Weekly Limerick

The winner of the 2003 and 2006 Geek Limerick contest has volunteered to write a weekly limerick for BBspot. Seth also has a new book coming out that you should take a look at..

Boston wins the World Series, 4 straight,
Which New Englanders all think is great.
If the Red Sox don't stop,
  Will the Yankees be topped
As the team everyone loves to hate?
