Real Life as an RPG

By jackrabbit

A friend of mine gave me the idea for this comic when we were discussing the forced and unusual nature of pretty much every conversation we'd ever had in a role playing video game. I thought at the time that the comic would pretty much write itself, but I quickly learned it would be tough. I enlisted the help of a few gaming sites, got a lot of input, and ended up using none of it cause I'm ungrateful.

I wanted to mention this cause I could hardly believe the hypocrisy of it, but I saw Baked Doritos in the snack aisle of the grocery store the other day. The label touts it as a low-fat snack, and I think if you can overlook the fact that the chips themselves are made up of 96% sodium, then sure... I think you can consider Baked Doritos "health food."

I bought some of the guacamole flavored Doritos a few weeks ago and honestly don't remember the chips having that much salt on them when I ate them as a kid. At one point in history, they tasted more like "nacho flavor" and less like a salt-lick. Maybe my memory is warped, though, because admittedly I remember the Dukes of Hazzard being a good show, too.

Next Week: A surprise visit from Keifer Sutherland!
