Those of you that read this and
thought "He should be ashamed of himself!", you're right, and I
am. I'm not really sure where the idea for this comic got off track,
but you can see it's totally derailed now. It started innocently
enough with the idea of "a priest, and a rabbi, and a ______ walk
into a bar..." and of course I filled in the blanks with "transvestite".
Not too many directions it can go from there, but by then I'd already
drawn the priest and the rabbi.
I was gonna quick draw Fabio sitting at the bar talking about how he'd
been dumped by Larissa on "Average Joe", but I didn't know how many people would
get it, and after last week I didn't want to run another small-demographic comic
(Also, I didn't want to openly admit I watched Average Joe, but here I am).
I'd read on IMDb that NBC bosses were saying Matt LeBlanc had to shed some
pounds before his spinoff started shooting, and then read another article about
how TV ratings are dropping, and the network executives blame video games instead
of admitting they offer mainly shitty programming.
Anyhow, I didn't want to miss a week posting a comic just because I went
a little off the beaten path, and I figured there have to be a few twisted people
that will read it and smile. For the rest of you...
I'm ashamed.
