Crackers in Bed

By jackrabbit

Picked up Links 2004, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Trivial Pursuit Unhinged for the Xbox this week. I feel like a traitorous PC gamer since I didn't get Splinter Cell for the PC and I didn't get Far Cry like I had planned. Battlefield: Vietnam and UT2k4 came out recently and the idea to buy them never even crossed my mind. I never thought I'd be a console gamer, but being able to talk to your teammates without setting up a voice program is a big added value.

Trivial Pursuit Unhinged has celebrity voices reading the questions. Brook Burke reads the People and Places cards, and I've said it's like Wild On my Xbox. I've started playing drunk and in a speedo, just to maintain the whole mystique of Wild On.

Any fans of Masamune Shirow should check out the upcoming (Japanese release only) film of Appleseed. I don't know who else has heard of Shirow, but he's always been my artistic hero. I nearly blacked out when I saw the trailers, but I've also been huffing my canned air recently (only kidding mom, don't call poison control again).
