Unfortunate Accident

By jackrabbit

I didn't feel I had enough stuff to keep me busy (sarcasm) so my wife and I got another dog this weekend. Now we have two labs, one chocolate and 4 years, one black and 10 weeks. I forgot how tough it is to raise a dog. While it's rewarding seeing him climb his first steps or bite my other dog in the lip, he never sleeps for more than two hours at a time. And while housetrained, if you aren't awake when he needs to go, he's not real big on waiting. If he wasn't so damn cute I'd really resent the 4 am potty breaks, in my pajamas in the backyard.

I've been playing Doom3 as I'm sure so are many of you. While it's an amazing looking game, the gameplay itself has left me a bit stale. The first few scares had me keeping a spare stack of underpants by my monitor, but after a few hours the effect wore off on me. I feel pretty callous to being startled now. Should someone try to break into my house in the middle of the night and jump out at me, I think I could pretty calmly whack him in the face with a flashlight.

I've also been accepted to the university of my choice and the major of my preference, so I'll be picking my classes in a few days. Thanks to everyone who wrote in to encorage me. Provided Diablo 3 doesn't come out any time soon, I should be able to finish up this time. See you next week!
