Microsoft Releases Source Code For MSN Messenger
Posted by brian on Tue August 04, 05:56 PM
from the have fun hitting reload page dept.
Microsoft announced today that they would be releasing MSN Messenger under the GPL and all the source code would freely be available. They plan to make money by charging for security patches. This looks legit, but I'm worried that Microsoft might just be doing this to rebuild Iraq. Get it while you can.
