BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

that's too bad - my 14 year old thought it was a great idea...actually, he would like to have a similar game except he wants to be the driver of an 18 wheeler...should you be able to produce your game, please get back in touch. Thanks.

Could you possibly provide me with the email address of Esenam Ayele. If he is interested, I know something he could do with his money. Thank you if you can help.

You'd think somebody with a pretentious name wouldn't need a Nigerian sugar daddy.

Now, to the email from the BBspot fan club...

I hate you.... for some reason I read the first several sentences of "Language Differences Confuse Internet Communications" before I realized that the link was on your site and that I wasn't reading an actual news story...

If it's any consolation, I hate him too.

For our final stop on the Believer train, we pull into a message board poster who is suspicious of the feng shui motherboard...

It looks photoshopped to me...

Ya think?

Lance Henriksen

Last week a reader took issue with an omission in my Trailer Review of AVP. Of course, several readers needed to correct some facts...

In your most recent MailBag, one reader states that Lance Henrikson starred in the "first three Alien movies". I'd like to take a moment to point out:

a) Lance Henrikson's character "Bishop" appeared only in 'Aliens' and 'Alien^3'. The first movie did indeed have an android character named "Ash", played by Ian Holm.

b) My total lack of life in both knowing this, and taking the time to point it out.

:-o
you bastard!
Lance Henrikson is very much a major star!
esp since most of your readership *are* geeks!
He's Bishop dude...Bishop!!!

and I'm sure it's just that he doesn't *want* to go to the same parties as sigourney and arnie...

I replied that he should just send me the link to his Lance Henriksen fanboy page. He did...

Computer Tips

In the BBlog I announced I was going to be building a new computer shortly. One reader can't wait to hear the bloody stories about this...

Subject: Building a PC

In reply to this, have you thought about setting up a place where people can donate money? I would definitely contribute, as I would love to see just how many accidents a person can have when building a PC!! You could even have a betting thing going on, I would place a bet on 5 injuries, with two involving blood.
Just a suggestion.

I think I will set up a place for people to "Guess the Injuries" when I build the computer.

That's all for this week!
