BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

Mr. Briggs,

Today I read for the first time a comical article of yours about the Mach Smack G500 video card.
The link is www.bbspot.com/News/ 2000/8/video_card.html

Was this a joke? Or was the producted pulled?

He calls it a comical article, then asks if it was a joke? Brainiac.

I thought all the Nigerian billionaire e-mails were done, but apparently I was mistaken...

I have enjoyed your article on Esenam Ayele. I am an Africian American woman who would like to contact Mr. Esenam Ayele or the Society of Charitable African Millionaires. Could you please provide me with the contact information. Thank You

Respectfully

Sandra

Dear Mr.Briggs,
I read your satire piece on the Nigerian billionaire and I personally found this article offensive. Do you know how many people out in this sad world of ours found a glimmer of hope while reading the article and then at the end all hopes were dashed. Oh I know that there really isnt a santa claus but there could be someone out there that really would like to help people out, I know if i had tons of cash sitting around I would be one of those that after taking care of my obligations I would find people to help out. But sadly to say I have yet to win the lottery and my inheriting any cash is pretty out of the question. So i will just have to keep dreaming that someone like Mr. Ayele will come along. I wouldn't even ask for millions, just maybe enough to pay off our bills and then I would pass it on and help others. Do us all a favor and stop teasing in a sadistic way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the first time I've been accused of being sadistic. Woohoo!

Double BBlooper

A couple readers sent this next one in. Apparently, I missed one more BBlooper...

How could I not notice Charlie Sheen being pregnant?

That's all for this week!
