BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

I get plenty of email from scammers each week and most of it gets filtered straight into the trash bin. Most that make it through the filter are unremarkable, but a couple this week were just too inept to ignore ...

I'm selling bears? Isn't that illegal? Also, who in their right mind would do business with someone in Nigeria?

The next is a virus that tries to get you to click on a link. I've removed the link just in case any BBelievers are reading the Mailbag this week..

There are so many things wrong with this email that I can't believe how anyone could possibly click on the link? Sadly, I'm sure there are a few people who did.

Weekly Limerick

The winner of this year's Geek Limerick contest has volunteered to write a weekly limerick for BBspot. I haven't decided where to put it yet, so this week's I'll put in the Mailbag...

From: Seth

Google bought YouTube, or so I read.
1.65 billion -- that's some bread!
 But for such a high price,
 You could get something nice;
I'd have just bought Burundi instead.

That's all for this week!
