BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

Believers

Somebody, please make a video card that can see through clothes, so I can direct these perverts, I mean, people somewhere...

Hi,

I was informed about your article regarding the Mach Smack g500 video card and it's capabilities (bodymap). Is this true?

No. This next one isn't a Believer, but is related to the "pervert" comment above...

Hello, my name is Phil and I am considering to buy Leisure suit larry uncut. But first I'd like to ask you what degree the nudity reaches. And do you know where to get any coupons (10% off or something).

I told him the video card that sees through clothes would probably be a better deal. He should look for that.

And, of course, a Mailbag wouldn't be complete without Esenam Ayele...

I can't tell from your "article" if you're giving a true story about someone or if it's just a big "joke". Can you tell me which it is?

<article forward snipped>

Well, "Rhonda," the article is just a "big" joke, but I've got this video "card" you might be "interested" in.

One anal, I mean, astute reader points out an error in our graphic for the 208-key keyboard article, or maybe he actually wants the keyboard, but not if it only has 174 keys...

Old Ground

I've already addressed this a couple times before, but yet another person takes offense at our OS quiz...

Hi
I would very much like to take your quiz but its SEXIST!!!!!! (unless you're refering to shaving my legs???) I am a woman - 50% of us are - Some of us are female geeks in case you haven't noticed. Maybe you could change it a bit so the other half of the population aren't left out

Maybe I should tell her that the BB in BBspot stands for Boy-Boy.

Happy Father's Day

One reader shares his father's day card with us...

Subject: Father's Day Gifts

None for my dad... except a card reading "Happy father's day to a righteous dad", where I inserted the word "self-" before righteous.
(This should give you an idea of the bonds in my family).

I love you, you love me, we're a happy family... or not.

That's all for this week!
