Top 11 Failed Board Game Kickstarters

  1. Murder Your Friends – Just what the name suggests.  The backing reward of untraceable firearms didn’t go over well with Kickstarter.  Backers also complained they could only play once.
  2. Is it Radioactive? – Hold onto isotopes and guess if they are radioactive.  The cancer warning was prohibitively long and scary.

  4. Infinity Rules – Procedurally generated rulebook that even the most dedicated gamers thought were too complex.
  5. Mystery Syringe – Sure, everyone loves heroin, but law enforcement shut this one down quickly.
  6. Hate, Hate Don’t Tell Me – Players compete to build the most despicable hate group.
  7. Eldritch Rainbows – The Lovecraft universe, but everything is cheery and fun!  No one wants that.
  8. DC vs. Marvel vs. Disney – A fighting board game based on popular characters from the big franchises.  Unfortunately, no licenses were acquired by the creator so lawyers intervened.
  9. Pedo Tycoon – No one wanted to build this empire.
  10. Tech Support Simulator – Whoever completes their tickets first wins!  Losers have to complete training modules.  No one wanted to back this one.
  11. Ticket to Ride: Your Mom – Creator just wanted to insult people.
