| Seattle, WA - Starbucks International Corp. said
on Tuesday it had delivered its first shipments of Frappucino Jr. to retailers
and daycare centers across America.  "Frappucino Jr. addresses a market
not yet tapped by the caffeinated beverage industry," says Starbucks CEO,
Howard Schultz.   "Our marketing
studies indicate that the 2-5 year old demographic was behind the rest of the
nation in coffee consumption.  This product aims to change that." "Parents often complain that their 3 year just doesn't have
enough energy.   Flavors like Strawpleberry Mocha and ChocoBuzz
should really get those kids excited."   Packaged
in an attractive "juice box" design, Frappucino Jr. is
perfect for the kid on the go.
Jennifer Sanchez of Happy Bear Daycare in Dallas says, "Frappucino
Jr. is what we have been missing.  My group of toddlers just
went wild for it.  I don't think I've ever seen them that energetic
after Kool-Aid" Starbucks also announced a line of FrappuFormula for infants to
            be delivered later this year.
